BIG SEASON AHEAD
The Phils can't hit. Deal with it. Las Vegas has.
As the baseball races begin today, the Phillies are a minus 275 to win the N.L East, and are 7-to-4 to win the National League pennant.
With everyone injured.
That confidence from Vegas says one thing: That there should be confidence everywhere else, too.
In four out of every five games they play this season (more?) the Phillies will be favored to win. How does that translate over 162 games?
With not much offense, it doesn't seem to make sense now. But over a long, long, long summer it will.
Make it five consecutive first-place finishes for the Phillies.
And check out my column on delcotimes.com and in the Daily Times Friday.
