A TEST OF COURAGE PASSED
Chester needed overtime to win a state basketball championship Saturday.
It might have needed overtime to win even more: The knowledge that, at one of the toughest moments of the season, the Clippers would find the spirit and the courage to match their many skills.
The Clippers won, 72-60. And in an overtime game, the usual cliche is that the score did not accurately reflect the difference in the teams.
This time? It did.
It did because Chester was 12 points better than Mt. Lebanon when it mattered most.
